Ilulissat is a small fishing town with 4500 – 4800 people. Fishing and hunting are the main business. Let us take you through and near the town and tell you how our grandparents became pioneers. Our grandfathers were hunters till they decided to be full time fishermen in the 50s. From that time the development has been amazing and have made Ilulissat into a very dynamic town.
